Aya Hirano (Haruhi), Yuko Goto (Mikuru), and Minori Chihara (Yuki), renowned worldwide for their performances in both the Haruhi television series and the character soundtracks will be attending as Official Guests of Honor at this year’s Anime Expo®.

In addition to appearing on panels and having autograph sessions, the three voice leads, will also be performing in a live concert on Saturday June 30th 2007 at 4:30 pm at the Long Beach Arena, next to the convention center.  They will be performing such hit songs as “Bouken Desho Desho?” and “Hare Hare Yukai.”  Winner of Bandai Entertainment Inc. Haruhi Dance contest will be allowed to come up on stage and perform the infamous dance with the voice actresses, live on stage.  The concert will be free for Anime Expo® attendees.

Why Why Why? For the love of <insert favorite anime character name> why?! How come we don’t get these kind of guests :(

Okay, I’m not all too excited, but it’s really cool to see someone famous in real life. Hell, I’ll buy concert tickets if YUI was to perform here.

  1. Lol,I guess everyone has the same reaction when someone they really like makes an appearance in an event. But, its reality that all these famous Japanese people we like wont be making a trip over to our sunny island over here anytime soon.

Its kinda of hard for them to come over to perform too,as the fanbase here isn’t very strong. Looks like the only way for us fans to catch a glimpse of our fav. idols live would be to fly over there. Not very practical, but that would be the best solution.

I want to see bump of chicken perform live as much as you want to see YUI perform live.
