We have seen the Matrix. We have seen people playing ping pong. But what happens when both elements are added together, followed by the creative touch of the Japanese performing live on TV?
This is actually one of the more famous and spread videos that has reached over the internets. Don’t know how many of you guys have watched this one before, but I really like the Japanese game show.
I remember watching it back on TV when it was aired about 6 – 7 years ago (chinese voiceovers). It was on one of those Japanese game shows where teams of people had to be creative and try to woo the judges with their creativity and skills.
At the end of the show, there will be different titles for the teams. One would win the “Most Creative Team” , the other “Funniest Presentation” , “Worst acting” (J/K) etc . But it was something like that. The winning team will then win the grand prize of 100,000 Yen or more/less. Can’t really remember all those ^^;
Besides that famous video, here’s another one that I found on Youtube. This one’s pretty good. I like how they started off in the middle and revealing what actually happened in the end. Very nice video.
Of course, there are also many other Japanese game show videos over on Youtube/Nicovideo/<Fav. Video Streaming Site> but there are some which are really stupid. I don’t really get why would people like watching Morning Musume girls screaming their lungs out at a Lizard running towards them <Link> or Japanese guys getting their nuts whacked (“Gaki No Tsukai!”) <Link>. Ouch!
There is also Takeshi’s Castle (1986 – 1989) that featured the esteemed Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano (also known as Beat Takeshi) as a count who owns a castle and sets up impossible challenges for players (or a volunteer army) to get to him. <Link> Those are pretty good.
To end off this post, I present you a video of a poor man that gets pranked to travel to somewhere…. in a crazy Taxi
