Tokyo Trip 2008 – Day 3: Meeting Danny Choo and Hector Garcia

And today, we meet up with the famous pair who has been haunting the streets of Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku etc and also the Online Otaku World – Danny Choo and Hector Garcia.

Meeting up with people was part of the agenda for this trip to Tokyo (and has always been ^^;). We hurried off to the meeting place from our hostel in Asakusa, where we then headed to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. It had been drizzling earlier in the morning, making the weather even chiller.

After lunch, Danny invited us to take a look at the office, which was just a small walk away from where we had our lunch.

Danny trying out the EF 24-105 f/4 L IS USM lens. Guess where he’s zooming at!

A look at the desk. Lots of figures by the side O_O

A little health booklet. I gained 10 hp from reading a page!

The future is here! Test-tubes containing some wax as well.

As Danny and Hector had work to complete (Taking over the world), we left soon after and headed back to our hostel to rest up for a bit before heading to Ueno Park for Hanami.

It was really nice to have met up both of them, especially meeting Hector for the first time where I managed to get to know him a little better.

Part 2 of this post (Ueno Park) will be posted separately as it will be very girl picture intensive.

  1. @alafista: LOL! I think so too!

@Tiny Red Man: Well, not really. It’s more of meeting friends in Tokyo over lunch and then chatting like old friends.
